Recently the Salon has added, The Talk: For Adults and Eccentric Walter and me talking about sex-news issues with attendee discussions. Adult Sex-Ed is more than June, it is every month at the Salon.
Here is the site that started the June focus on adult sex-ed.
During the month of June, you’ll get a chance to read some of the best adult sex ed stories on the Interwebz just by checking out links on Twitter and Facebook with the #AdultSexEdMonth hashtag. Like something you read? Retweet or share the post with people in your social media network circles.
Part of the reason I started #AdultSexEdMonth last year is because good and credible information about sex is so hard to find, but it’s out there. Google does its best to keep adult content off the top of its keyword search results. While it’s responsible to keep adult content away from curious underage eyes, Google doesn’t differentiate the difference between porn and sex.
The #AdultSexEdMonth stories you’ll find on Twitter and Facebook just aren’t written by me. I don’t know everything about sex. I may not have the same opinions or interests about sex as others. That’s why I’ve asked dozens of other sex bloggers to take part in this social media campaign. If there’s anyone I’ve missed, just join in the fun. The more the merrier.’
If you come across a great adult sex article on your own, let us know about it by sharing it on Facebook and Twitter with the #AdultSexEdMonth hashtag.
If Twitter or Facebook aren’t your thing, you can find lots of great adult sex ed articles, infographics, videos and podcasts on the #AdultSexEdMonth Stories by Topic page.
In addition to sharing great adult sex ed stories, this year there will be some great online discussions where you can learn a lot about sex. Check out the chat schedules on the #AdultSexEdMonth Events page. You can also find #AdultSexEdMonth events taking place off line, too.
If you’re still trying to wrap your head (the small one as well as the big one) over what #AdultSexEdMonth is all about, check out the #AdultSexEdMonth website, and be sure to follow #AdultSexEdMonth on Twitter (@AdultSexEdMonth) and Facebook.
Aside from the great bloggers that are involved in #AdultSexEdMonth, I’d also like to thank the sponsors that are making it possible to make #AdultSexEdMonth a bigger deal and more than successful than last year. Lubezilla made it possible for #AdultSexEdMonth for it to have its own website. Our Social Media Sponsors, Lucky Bloke, Sextoys.co.uk, Toy With Me, Glyde and My Secret Luxury are not only backing this project financially, but will be sharing valuable information to show how smarter and safer sex is the best sex. Angel’s Sex Toys, Cara Sutra, Kinkly, Parrot’s Pen and The STD Projecthave also played a big and much appreciated role in helping to cover the expenses involved in the #AdultSexEdMonth campaign..
