Some of my favorite styles of erotic poetry, sent in by a past contributor from India.
POEMS: R.K.SINGH
SOME TANKA :
1.
It’s no ageing
but eternal delight:
you under me
smooth belly, nude necking
slow strokingĀ parting flesh
2.
On the roof top
she waits for herĀ man with
moon cake and lantern:
a flash of silver showers
on the mist-shrouded figure
3.
The beads of sweat
on her breasts do not touch
her years or face
in candle light her shadow
is more restrained than my thought
4.
Her look
unspoken flirting
or artful riff
on snaring my soul
for playful exchange
5.
She stoops low
to the botton shelf
in black jeans
her curves flattering and
red lace groping her hips
SOME HAIKU:
Softness of her lips
and dancing of her tongue–
warm wetness
Photo shoot:
erect nipples of
young model
Sensing sex
in her pink smile
long talk short
He sees art
in her wanton dress–
crawling curls
She goes out
into sultry heat–
feeding time
Caressing
her pregnant belly–
water lily
On the beach
she combs her long hair:
aphrodite
Smells the happiness
of earth in the khus she wears–
summer’s first rain
Seeing her naked
fuses logos and eros–
a fresh senryu
POEMS:
1. RISING THRILL
Beside phone
a chocolate box
and condoms
rising thrill
smell makes body swirl
as bones breathe
2. A WISP OF MEMORY
I stopped having dreams
she doesn’t visit me in my sleep
there’s no love making
nor the night of her first meeting
time seems to collapse
I can’t breathe for two any more
with forced libido
I can’t sense beyond the body
the rain on the jetty
resounds a wisp of memory
3. KAMAKHYA
Nothing turns me on
in aloneness self-rape
is no eros:
the blue hill hides the seed
in the sex of goddess
I can’t awaken
nor can I rise from the ash
to be my real self
I still lost in meanness
no third eye could locate
4. MISTAKE
Don’t defile
my goddess. You smell
private parts
with sexy
hibiscus don’t crack
the centre
take bath first
and then touch Kali
with clean mind
I can’t let
your wandering hands
make mistake
