 Thank you to all the folks that attended Tuesday’s Erotic Literary Salon, it was fantastic. The readings were fabulous, the audience appreciative and supportive, some first time readers, some regulars, great crowd. Chris – Haiku, where were/are you? He will be reading steamy passages from his novel set in Philadelphia. Last night’s intimate Salon was lovely. Convergence of Beer week, sports games, Mann Center, and other events had a lot of our regular readers elsewhere. However, some very daring new readers came forth and offered to read works of others. Chris Farrell’s composition and musical talents surprised everyone. The back story to his composition certainly fit Tonight another Salon. Bring your original words or those of others to read at the Salon or just come to listen. There is still room for more readers. The readings at the Salon encompass a wide range of erotica, from the subtle innuendo form to edgy, explicit sex. You will hear it all. Tonight, along with other A long weekend of Zydeco dancing, close, in your face, steamy, swaying moves. If that is not erotic I’m not certain of definition. Could use some more readers for tomorrow night. Even if you don’t write, recite your favorite erotica or one you think the attendees would enjoy hearing. Hope to see you all tomorrow. Kimberly Gardner, our featured reader, gave us the opportunity to enjoy homo-erotic writings written by a hetero-women. Her intro and Q&A enlighten the audience to this style of writing and informed us of the large audience of hetero-women readers and Hard to believe it has been two years since I started this event, while in a dissertation slump mode. Philadelphia was ready and now I am growing. The number of folks attending has been great and I’m considering offering some other events of an erotic/sexual nature. If you sign up early you are assured a slot to read, if you sign up late or just walk in the door to read you might have to skip a month. Last month 70+ people attended, if you want a seat arrive early, doors open at 7:30, Salon officially starts at 8PM.
