<p><strong>The Erotic Literary Salon will be held Tuesday, June 19th</strong>. Mark will be the featured presenter; he is an accomplished stand-up comedian and regular opening reader at the Salon. Mark will performing a novel act, using illusions to tell erotic stories.</p>

<p>The Salon has been given permission by the author Adam Mansbach. to video tape Frances reading from his best selling book, <em>Go the Fok to Sleep</em>. This is a repeat reading, the summer attendees who had the privilege to hear her first reading laughed until tears ran out of their eyes. Not to be missed.</p>

<p>The Erotic Literary Salon will be held Tuesday, Feb. 21. Local performance artists Monica Day will be the featured reader for February&#8217;s Valentine-themed Salon. She will present a new piece entitled, &#8220;The Unexpected Valentine.&#8221; Through her writings, workshops and events she produces for her company, The Sensual Life, Day often ponders the intimate and sometimes comic moments where our real lives vary from the Hallmark card, romance novel lives of our imagination. “What better time than Valentine&#8217;s to crawl into the belly of the beast, and see what hidden gems of true love, intimacy, and of course, eroticism, lives within.” <a href="www.thesensuallife.com">www.thesensuallife.com</a></p>
<p>Irene will perform in a dance style known as American Tribal Style or ATS Belly dance. It is a nontraditional form of belly dance, created in San Francisco in the 1980&#8242;s. Steps are influenced by folkloric as well as traditional belly dance, with a lot of Flamenco stylizations. <p><strong>The Erotic Literary Salon will be held Tuesday, Jan 17.</strong> Plum Dragoness is a multi-talented thespian, dancer &amp; and innovative poetess. “My personal aesthetic for performing poetry is to give it motion &amp; to let the poetry act as a vehicle to carry a message&#8230;like a dance with words!”</p>
<p>Several months ago, the Erotic Literary Salon audience was honored to have Plum Dragoness perform her erotica for the first time. Approximately 20 participate as writers, readers, storytellers, spoken word performers of original works/words of others, the rest just come to listen, enjoy and applaud. Frances, our resident nonagenarian (94 years young) often recites her original erotica.</p>
<p>Salons gather the 3rd Tuesday of every month at TIME (The Bohemian Absinthe Lounge), 1315 Sansom Street, Center City, Philadelphia. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. (limited seating), for cocktails, food and conversation. The event begins promptly at 8:00 p.m. Admission is $10, discounted for readers, students, and seniors (65+) to $8. Salon attendees must be 21.</p>

Sam Benjamin a former porn film director, has written a fascinating memoir of his journey through the surreal subcultures of the adult entertainment industry. <p>The Erotic Literary Salon will be held Tuesday, Nov. 15. Gray Miller, aka &#8220;Graydancer,” is an author, educator, and performer within the sex-positive community. Gray travels extensively speaking, performing, teaching, and facilitating his &#8220;GRUEs&#8221; &#8211; unique &#8220;Unconference&#8221;-style events.</p>
<p>Graydancer will be reading an excerpt from &#8220;Ritual of Ashes,&#8221; a piece that will be included in the upcoming cigar erotica anthology from Ravenous Romance. Based on true events, it combines two of his favorite subjects: cigar and rope. Afterwards Gray will be running a &#8220;Rope Station&#8221; where Salon participants are welcome to experience rope bondage techniques for themselves.</p>

<p>The Erotic Literary Salon will be held Tuesday, Sept. 20.  Part of the evening will feature three Connecticut poets, all members of the poetry troupe Shijin. They will be presenting a performance of original seamless (erotic) poetry, a unique performance style that can only be appreciated in person. A fiction comedic erotic piece will also be presented.</p>
<p>Robin Elizabeth Sampson is a poet, writer (erotica and otherwise), and blogger with more ideas than time for. Two of her erotic poems were finalists at the 2010 Seattle Erotic Arts Festival.
