Scantily Clad Storytelling

Sunday, November 24, 8PM 2pm at the Raven Lounge 1718 Sansom St., Philadelphia

An open mic for those who have dabbled in any way in the erotic industry. Hilarious, frightening, erotic, creative writing or off-the-cuff, this will essentially be a room full of people who are open about their experiences and want to share, be it to have fun, to dispel stereotypes, to meet people, or just to reach out to the community.

Organized by women in the industry, we want to make dialogue about industry experiences as casual as any other one could have.

AND if you have art, feel free to sell it! We have room for three artists on the walls.

AND, because our venue has a pole, we will be doing a pole workshop after the event for those who would like to stay and learn, OR if you’d like to do a performance sometime throughout the night, message one of the hosts of this event!

The doors are open to anyone, with or without experience. If you just want to support the idea that the erotic arts can be a safe and consensual place to be, or just are curious and want to listen to amusing/raunchy/moving word of mouth, come on in!

WE ARE A SAFE EVENT. While we have had our doors open to anyone who cares to join, there have been no problems concerning jackassery, douchebags or hecklers. There is a strict zero jerk tolerance policy. So come in, have drinks, laugh, and dont worry!

Ask Eris Vale for password, attend the Erotic Literary Salon for only $8.

Diabolique Ball 2013 – Action AIDS Fundraiser – November 23

Saturday, Nov 24, an event not to be missed.

“The Diabolique Foundation is paying homage to the gratuitous genres of the cinematic underground with its chilling charity event, DIABOLIQUE BALL 2013: GRINDHOUSE HORRORSHOW, at the famous Trocadero Theatre on Saturday, November 23rd

This year, our patrons will be tantalized and terrified by International Pole Dancer Kitty Laveaux while Liberty City Kings Drag & Burlesque brings the glitter and grit to the main stage. There will be fashion shows by Passional Boutique, Delicious Boutique, and BabyLove’s Latex to exhibit their electrifying frocks.

Mighty Mike Saga, DJ Diesel, DJ Totentanz, and DJ Zombie Kitty will be on board to provide enough music to wake the dead throughout the night. And as usual, the ball will be equipped with a complete, interactive dungeon space provided by The Aviary and numerous charity play stations to help exorcise your demons.

As a special treat to tickle the fancy, our attendees will be able to get their gore on by a team of special effects makeup artists, as well as get a chance to meet our very special guests…the stars of Frank Henenlotter’s 1982 cult classic splatterfest, Basket Case!

All proceeds and donated services are benefiting ActionAIDS, a non-profit organization providing services to those with HIV/AIDS in the Philadelphia area.

Don’t forget… the Diabolique Ball enforces a strict fetish, black tie formal and theme-based attire code for entrance, so be sure to dress to kill. Check out our website for more information and ideas for costumes that will definitely pass dress code!

Fearsome fetishists! Killer kinksters! Ravenous rubberists! Vengeful Vixens! And much, much more!”
