The Erotic Literary Salon will be held Tuesday, Feb. 18. Local poet extraordinaire, and creator of the Essensual Experience, Monica Day is the featured presenter for the third consecutive year. She will be celebrating the underbelly of Valentine’s Day in her unique spoken word style that has brought Salon crowds to their feet with laughter and tears. http://www.thesensuallife.com

Internationally famous Damian Lobato, instrumental in reviving the Tango scene after a 30 year decline and his dance partner/instructor the gifted dancer Sarah Chung, will be performing a special Valentine’s Tango. They will also give a brief history of the development of the Tango that originated in the slums of Buenos Aires in the 1890’s, as a male-male partner dance that has found its way to the lights of Broadway and the floor of their Philadelphia Practica Zero Hour. http://www.tangoinphilly.com www.sarahchungtango.com

Salons gather the 3rd Tuesday of every month at TIME (The Bohemian Absinthe Lounge), 1315 Sansom Street, Center City, Philadelphia. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. (limited seating), for cocktails, food and conversation. Talk and Q&A between 7:00-7:30 and readings begin at 8:00. Admission is $10, discounted for students, and seniors to $8. Salon attendees must be 21.

Creator of this event, Dr. Susana, is Philadelphia’s best-known sexologist. She lends her voice to the Salon by offering relevant information to support the discussions that arise in the Salon and blog.

The Erotic Literary Salon will be held Tuesday, Nov. 19. I.J. Miller will read a short excerpt from his spicy novel Wuthering Nights, the erotic retelling of Emily Bronte’s classic novel, Wuthering Heights. He will also read an excerpt from his new novel: My Hot Teacher, a New Adult erotic romance about a college girl who embarks on an intense sensual journey with her professor, and must unravel all of his mysteries before she can understand what true love is.

The Talk Q&A is in honor of the supportive Erotic Literary Salon community and the presenters who trust them with their intimate stories. The Salon attendees have been witness to the powerful transformation readers have presented throughout the years. This talk will focus on the healing potential of writing and reading ones sex memoirs and the role the attendees play in this process.
