Last night’s readings were wonderful. Frances gave her final reading of the season, and several ‘virgins’ read some beautiful words.
I noticed a flyer for ‘One Taste,’ on the table, it never was approved by me and I do not wish to promote. I made an announcement for people to research prior to attending any functions they offer.
I would also like to stress, any time you attend an introductory seminar or talk, never sign-up or spend money for future events until you go home and do your research, talk to people, and settle down from the high produced from these events. Then and only then, decide whether this is something you want to do. Many of these speakers are extremely charismatic and have been schooled in how to gain people’s confidences.
Having spoken to numerous people who have taken courses or have been a part of One Taste, plus spoken with colleagues who have counseled many who have attended we are all extremely concerned with what is being promoted and how.
Nicole is an extremely charismatic person and her style and manner set her up for guru status. She is not a sexologist, psychologist, or anyone who is even remotely schooled in this field. She is an excellent marketing person, praying on people who are not comfortable with their sexuality, want to explore, or are lacking social skills.
She offers a ‘safe’ space and permission to explore and release guilt, shame, and any negative feelings and thoughts regarding sexuality. However, this work should always be done in the presence of a professional who is schooled in setting boundaries. These are not issues shared in a group setting while exploring ones sexuality.
Her premise is based on the orgasm, specifically female orgasm changing the world.
